"Total volume of investments in industrial zones to be created from 2022 is AZN 6.5 bln, Deputy Economy Minister Sahib Alakbarov said at April 25 conference 'Heydar Aliyev and development of entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan". According to him, more than 10.100 permanent jobs were opened in the industrial zones created with state support. Additional investments of over AZN 600 million are planned in the existing projects. Another 4,800 new jobs will be created from these investments. Industrial parks are operating in Baku (Pirallahi and Garadagh districts), Sumgayit, Mingachevir, Agdam and Jabrail regions, and industrial quarters in Hajigabul, Masally, Sabirabad and Neftchala areas.. Over 100 companies are residents of these industrial zones with tax preferences for 10 years with special status.
