Armenia notifies Azerbaijan about the Iravan-Gafan test flight

Armenia notified Azerbaijan about the Iravan-Gafan test flight, said the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia, APA reports.

On April 26, at 10:58, the plane from Yerevan's Zvartnots airport landed at Gafa's Sunik airport. A small-capacity (for 19 passengers) Czech-made L-410-UVP E20 aircraft was selected for the flight.

"The information about the flight, which was carried out on April 25, was transmitted to Azerbaijan's air traffic service using fixed telegraphic communication," the report said.

The Civil Aviation Committee responded negatively to the subject of whether the plane breached Azerbaijani territory during takeoff and landing.

The committee stated that the goal of any test flight is to discover and eliminate technical and other issues.
