Azerbaijani tennis players are contesting medals at the 2023 European Youth Championships kicked off in the city of Gliwice, Poland. Azerbaijan’s hopes are pinned on U19 athletes Laman Abdulhamidova, Zemfira Mikayilova, Khadija Abilzade and Nigar Mahmudova, as well as U15 players including Adil Ahmadzade, Rustam Hajili, Huseyn Eylazov, Marziyya Nurmatova, Arzu Aslanova and Aylin Asgarova. The championships will run until July 23.
