Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu has met with Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Andrey Rudenko, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
Andrey Rudenko conveyed the position of the Russian side regarding the known statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia dated July 15, and said that the mentioned statement in no way puts shadow on the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and that its main direction was the issues of ensuring the rights and security of Armenians living in the Karabakh region, and the opening of the Lachin Corridor. “Today, the main goal of Russia is the signing of a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, for which the Russian side is ready to provide comprehensive support, including organizing meetings on its territory,” Rudenko noted.
The deputy FM also pointed to the activities of the Russian peacekeeping forces temporarily stationed in the territory of Azerbaijan.
