On May 12, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov received special representative of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation for the normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations, Igor Khovaev, MFA told APA.
During the meeting, the process of normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations, negotiations on the peace agreement, as well as the current situation in the region were discussed.
During the discussions, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov drew attention to the position and priorities of our country in the peace agreement negotiations, as well as future expectations. At the same time, he informed the other party about the provocative steps of Armenia that undermine the peace process and negotiations.
