Customs officers and entrepreneurs from Osh region were detained for systematic smuggling of goods from China. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.
«Since April, representatives of K.G. LLC, G.D. LLC, A.T. LLC and K.T. LLC in collusion with employees of the South-Western customs, were engaged in adjusting the weight of the imported cargo by falsifying weighing certificates, on the basis of which calculation of customs duties payable was further made. Thus, more than 200 tons of goods were not accounted. The state budget suffered damage on an especially large scale,» the statement says.
Two inspectors of the Customs Compliance Group of the Osh center of the South-Western Customs were detained and placed in a pretrial detention center, as well as representatives of the companies. The investigation is ongoing.
