On July 21, 2021, at approximately 3:30 p.m., the driver of an Opel Astra, Dzhovidov Basiri Sangalievich, born in 1983, a resident of Qumsangir Jamoat, J. Balkhi District, was driving in the direction of the district center. Umarov Ibrohim Ziyovudinovich, born in 2007, resident of Navoi jamoat of Jaihun district, on the highway “Dushanbe-Bokhtar-Panji-poyon”, located in the territory of Navoi jamoat of this district, lost control of his vehicle and hit a minor cyclist.
As a result, the minor, Umarov IZ, received injuries and died at the hospital.
An investigation is under way.
