German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov and Director of Kurik Port Serik Akhmetov visited the RoPax-type “Zarifa Aliyeva” ferry vessel of Azerbaijan Caspian Sea Shipping CJSC (ASCO) docked at Kurik Port, ASCO told APA-Economics.
The President of Germany was informed that the ferry vessel “Zarifa Aliyeva” together with other ferries in ASCO’s fleet plays an important role in the development of the cargo transportation chain on the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route.
