BAKU: The Grape and Wine Festival, held in Azerbaijan's Shamakhi district last weekend, was remembered for its interesting program and numerous guests, Trend reports. The festival was organized by the State Tourism Agency and the Executive Power of the Shamakhi District in the district's Meysari village. The event's goals are to promote local viticulture and winemaking, raise public awareness of the history of viticulture and winemaking in Azerbaijan, and showcase the work done in this field. The two-day festival, which took place at the Shirvan Wines LLC winery complex, featured master classes, tastings, entertainment, culinary events, souvenir sales, and other programs.
