General Medical Practice Center in Toktogul district will be provided with modern medical equipment. Press center of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The ministry noted that the center is located on the important Bishkek — Osh highway and serves not only the local population, but also those who are on the road and need medical care.
According to the director of the center Nurbek Zhumabaev, repair work is currently underway in the therapeutic department, day hospital and polyclinic.
In addition, tenders have been announced for the purchase of ultrasound machine for newborns, a gastroscopy device, monitors and computer equipment. Currently, documents are being prepared for holding tenders for the repair of basements and for the purchase of an elevator.
At the instruction of the officials of the Ministry of Health, repairs will be carried out and equipment for the laboratory will be purchased, where a centralized issuance of research results will be organized.
At the expense of the Toktogul District Development Fund, the asphalt pavement on the territory adjacent to the center is currently being completely replaced.
This center is designed for 186 beds, has 11 groups of family doctors, 15 feldsher-obstetric stations and 2 branches of the territorial hospital (in Sary-Kamysh and Terek-Suu villages). There are nine ambulances in the district, staffing is 59 percent. There is a hostel to attract young personnel.
