Based on the petition of the General's Prosecutor Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Prosecutor's Office of Georgia made a decision on the extradition of Mehman Gasimov, a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan, to our country in accordance with the requirements of the Convention "On Legal Assistance and Legal Relations in Civil, Family and Criminal Cases" dated January 22, 1993, APA reports citing Press Service of General's Prosecutor Office.
Mehman Gasimov was detained in the territory of the Republic of Georgia and brought to Azerbaijan on May 8 accompanied by a special convoy of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
