On July 5, 2021 in Kabul the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Saadi Sharifi met with the National Security Adviser of Afghanistan Hamdullah Muhib. The situation in the border areas of Afghanistan with Tajikistan has been considered at the meeting.
The Tajik ambassador stressed that in the current situation, the issues of border security and the security situation in Afghanistan are in the center of attention of the top leadership of Tajikistan. He added that Tajikistan wants an end to the war and a negotiated solution to the Afghan problem.
