On August 2, 2021 in Vienna, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Tajikistan Yusuf Rahmon met with the Director of the OSCE Center for Conflict Prevention Ms. Tula Yuryola.
During the meeting the sides discussed the process of cooperation of the Republic of Tajikistan with the OSCE in the framework of military-political and humanitarian dimensions of the Organization, including the implementation of OSCE programs and projects in Tajikistan and cooperation in implementing the Counter-Terrorism and Extremism Strategy in 2021-2025 .
At the same time, the sides exchanged views on the current situation in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and its impact on the security situation in Central Asia and beyond, ways to regulate the participation of civil society in OSCE forums, as well as OSCE assistance in prosecuting and other issues of mutual interest. thought.
