On December 15, 2021 the Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan - Co-Chair of the Tajik-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation Sherali Kabir met with the Vice President of the Republic of Turkey Fuat Oktay in Ankara.
The current state and prospects of development of Tajik-Turkish relations, including in the framework of the Tajik-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation have been considered at the meeting.
The parties stressed the need to organize high-level talks and contacts in the near future and expressed support for the initiative to establish a Tajik-Turkish business forum in Konya to expand trade and economic cooperation.
