In the first half of 2023, the State Financial Control Service under the Ministry of Finance fined 22 officials. This was reported by the Ministry. According to the data, this is 3 people, or 12% less than in the same period of 2022. At the same time, over the past year, the total amount of fines paid by officials rose by 3.700 manats, or by 23.6%, to 20.400 manats. Note that fines were imposed for committing administrative offenses as set forth in Articles 410.1 and 410.2 of the Administrative Code, and paid to the state budget.
