On September 16, 2021, a session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization will be held in the city of Dushanbe under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
The session will be attended by the Chairman of the CSTO Collective Security Council, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Vovaevich Pashinyan, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Grigorievich Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Kemelevich Tokayev, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Nurgozhoevich Zhaparov, President Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and Secretary General of the CSTO Stanislav Vasilyevich Zas.
The heads of state will exchange views on topical issues of international and regional security and the main results of the Organization's activities in the intersessional period, as well as hear information on priority areas of activity during the upcoming chairmanship of the CSTO of the Republic of Armenia.
Following the session, it is planned to adopt a Declaration of the CSTO Collective Security Council and about fifteen decisions.
The Dushanbe summit will complete the cycle of activities of the CSTO statutory bodies within the framework of the Tajik chairmanship.
