On September 24, 2021 in New York in the margins of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Muhriddin took part and spoke at the High Level Dialogue on Energy.
The dialogue, moderated by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, provided a platform for discussing prospects and opportunities to accelerate efforts to ensure accessible and clean energy for all.
In his speech, the Foreign Minister stressed the importance of access to energy as a key tool to achieve Goal 7 of sustainable development and briefed the participants on the high-level forum on hydropower potential of the Republic of Tajikistan and the country's achievements in this area.
