A second stationary site for collection of household waste with sorting containers was opened in Osh city. Press service of the City Hall reported.
According to it, the site is located at the intersection of Aliyev and Pushkin streets.
The City Hall recalled that the first site was set up last summer in Aravanskaya microdistrict between multi-storey buildings along Aitiev Street. Then such a pilot project was implemented in Kyrgyzstan for the first time.
A dispatcher works at the stationary site, who sorts household waste and controls unauthorized disposal of construction and commercial waste.
The mayor of Osh, Bakytbek Zhetigenov, instructed to install such sites in all microdistricts of the city.
According to Nurbek Ismailov, the head of Osh-Tazalyk municipal enterprise, another such site will be installed this year in a densely populated microdistrict along Alaiskaya Street. In general, it is planned to set up about ten stationary sites.
