Before the awarding ceremony, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon congratulated the audience on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of state independence and stressed that on the eve of the Independence Day of the Republic of Tajikistan state awards were presented. The prestige of the society is a symbol of gratitude for their meritorious services in the development of various sectors of the national economy and social sectors.
Independence and freedom is the greatest blessing and the most valuable achievement of the Tajik nation after a thousand years of statelessness.
It was thanks to independence that Tajikistan emerged on the political map of the world as a sovereign state and was recognized as an equal member of the world community.
State independence marked a turning point in the destiny of the Tajik nation and provided the people of Tajikistan with a unique historical opportunity to build a civilized state that meets the interests of the country, its people and the pillars of modern statehood.

To date, we have worked for the development of industry, transport, energy, construction, private sector, export development, development of new irrigated lands, agriculture, tourism, science, education, health, social protection, culture, youth policy, women and family, development. We have accomplished a great deal in sports and in pursuing a peaceful and constructive foreign policy.

Also, in accordance with the decision of the commission for the Ismoili Somoni Prize in 2021, approved by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, 12 people became winners of the Ismoili Somoni Prize in 2021.
On March 18, 2020 the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon at a meeting with scientists of the country in order to address the shortcomings in educational institutions and improve the quality of scientific research in all academic research centers proposed that the Government to encourage scientists and teachers of natural sciences To establish a special state award in mathematics and annually award 15 best teachers and scientists with this award.
For the first time, according to the decision of the commission to receive the state award of the Republic of Tajikistan for scientists and teachers of natural sciences, exact sciences and mathematics in 2021, approved by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, 15 best teachers were awarded.
Thus, Abdolbekov Alidod, a chemistry teacher at the Presidential School for gifted students in Khorog, was the first to be awarded this state prize.
