A SUV car caught fire, and then exploded at Kyrgyzstan — Kazakhstan border. Video of the incident was posted on social media.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident happened on Friday. Lexus LX 470 car parked near Ak-Tilek checkpoint caught fire for unknown reasons. It was not possible to extinguish it in time.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire was reported at 3.37 p.m. It was completely extinguished at 4.37 p.m. Lexus LX 470 and three trees burned down as a result of explosion. No casualties were registered.
Cause of the fire is being investigated.
