Highlights
Compared to last week, the average price of wheat flour (1st grade) decreased by 3% due to import increase from abroad. The average prices of cooking oils and sugar were stable.
Over the last two weeks, the average price of egg increased by 1%-2%. It was still lower by 1% compared to last month, but higher by 33% from the last year.
Prices of vegetables such as potatoes, onions, carrots and cabbage increased in some markets and decreased in others, while their average prices did not changed except for cabbage price which increased by 4% due to reduction of its stocks in markets.
Compared to the last week, petrol and diesel prices remained stable in the majority of markets. While their average prices decreased by 11% and 3% accordingly compared to the last month. The average petrol price decreased by 29% and the average diesel price increased by 10% compared to the last year.
Compared to the last week and month, wage labour rates remained stable in the majority of markets and only skilled wage rates decreased in the Hisor, Ishkoshim and Istaravshan markets in the range of 5-9% compared to the last month
