On September 6, 2021 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Muhriddin had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Mark Garno.
The issues of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Canada, including in the political, security, economic, social and humanitarian spheres have been considered during the talks.
The two sides exchanged views on the situation in Afghanistan and expressed readiness to strengthen and expand cooperation in regional and international format in order to ensure regional security.
