The circulation of propaganda materials is responsible

Due to the dangers and consequences, such as arson and bodily injury, trafficking in narcotics is prohibited in Tajikistan, and any act related to it is illegal and subject to administrative and criminal penalties. However, every year on the eve of the New Year, such illegal actions are intensified under the pretext of entertainment, and mainly young people and teenagers are brought to justice.

During the first ten days of December, Sughd police officers registered six cases of illicit trafficking in narcotics and seized a total of 54,741 items of explosives, commonly referred to as “flaps.” In Boston, for example, a 16-year-old schoolgirl was arrested on Dec. 4 while selling 24,000 Trenya explosives. Similarly, on December 7, police in the village of Unji, B. Gafurov district, detained Muloboev Dilshod Muhammadjonovich, born in 2001, for illegal storage of pyrotechnics and confiscated 24,000 pieces of firecrackers.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against him under the provisions of Article 1991 of Tajikistan’s Penal Code.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs urges citizens not to ignore the norms prohibited by law in order to obtain monetary benefits. Parents also need to monitor their children and explain the consequences.
