Working visit of the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Russia to Chuvashia

On October 18-19, 2021 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Russian Federation Davlatshoh Gulmahmadzoda paid a working visit to the Republic of Chuvashia.

During his working visit, the Ambassador of Tajikistan met with the President of Chuvashia Oleg Nikolaev.

During the conversation, which was traditionally held in a friendly atmosphere, the sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects of trade and economic cooperation between the regions of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Chuvashia.

The two sides expressed interest in expanding interregional cooperation, especially in industry, education, creation of new jobs for migrant workers in Tajikistan, as well as the implementation of cultural and humanitarian projects, business trips and investment.

At the same time, your interlocutors expressed their views on strengthening cooperation in the agricultural sector, including the supply of agricultural products of Tajikistan to the markets of Chuvashia.

Davlatshoh Gulmahmadzoda also visited Chuvash State University named after I.N. Ulyanov visited and met with Tajik students.

At the meeting with students and representatives of the Tajik diaspora, the Ambassador of Tajikistan informed about the social and economic development of Tajikistan during the period of state independence. At the same time, special attention was paid to the care and constant support of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in creating favorable conditions for education and self-improvement of young people.

During the visit the head of the Diplomatic Mission of Tajikistan visited the production facilities of the Concern “Tractor Plants” Concern, the electrical engineering holding “CHEAZ” and LLC “Keysystems”.

At the meetings, the leaders of these enterprises expressed their interest in inviting more than 250 people from Tajikistan to work in these companies.
