3 of 182 passengers arriving in Dushanbe from Frankfurt hospitalized on suspicion of contracting COVID-19

A source at a MoHSPP says the remaining 179 passengers were allowed to go home Thursday morning after their tests for COVID-19 showed negative.
They must quarantine (self-isolate) at home during 14 days, and in case of any symptoms, they should immediately consult a doctor.
“All people arriving in Tajikistan from other countries are being tested for COVID19. Those who tested positive for COVID-19 must undergo treatment. People returned from the Kazakh-Uzbek border undergo treatment in hospitals in the Sughd province and people arriving in Dushanbe are sent to Varzob and Romit,” the source said.
The source further noted that all new detected cases of COVID-18 were added to the general daily statistics.
Recall, 70 of 776 Tajik nationals repatriated from Kazakhstan on July 3 have been diagnosed with. They have been taken to the Sughd regional hospital in Khujand.
Meanwhile, Deputy Health Minister, Shodikhon Jamshed, on July 8 held a meeting to discuss issues related to admitting, diagnosing and treating citizens arriving in Tajikistan from abroad.
