United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution promoted by the delegation of Tajikistan entitled " Cooperation between the United Nations and the Economic Cooperation Organization.
During the introduction of the draft resolution, the Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the United Nations Ambassador Mahmadamin Mahmadaminov emphasized the importance of developing transport and communications system, implementing infrastructure projects, facilitating trade procedures, and free movement of goods and services.
