At least 11.7 billion soms is planned to be allocated for the Ministry of Agriculture for 2023. The Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan reported.
It is noted that 4.5 billion soms will be allocated under the state investment program, and 3.3 billion soms — under the «capital investments» item. Other 3.9 billion soms will be the funds of the current budget and the money on special accounts.
To prevent the spread of especially dangerous contagious animal diseases in 2023, about 549.1 million soms will be allocated to the Veterinary Service under the Ministry of Agriculture. It is planned to spend 40 million soms per year on pest control.
«474.4 million soms are provided for the Forest Service in 2023. Of these, 90.8 million soms are provided for financing of measures for the protection of forests, afforestation and reproduction (planting, sowing, caring for saplings and seedlings),» the Ministry of Finance said.
