At 09:15 Armenian armed forces fired at an excavator "on the territory of the Lachin region of Azerbaijan, at the conditional border," the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported at 09:15 on May 8. The Azerbaijani Armed Forces retaliated.
It should be recalled that on April 15 there had been an armed clash between the sides at this section. As a result, three servicemen from the Azerbaijani side were killed, and four from the Armenian side.
