The Embassy of Azerbaijan in the Netherlands has attended 'Embassy Festival' in Hague, organized by accredited embassies in the country. During the festival, the participant countries showcased their national culture, music and cuisine. The 'Embassy Festival', traditionally held in early September, hailed the great role of National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev in the history of the country, as this year marks his 100th birth anniversary. Azerbaijan's pavilion featured books on the history and culture of the country, presenting the most delicious dishes of the national cuisine. As part of the festival, the Embassy of Azerbaijan held "Open Door" day, where the representatives of the local community got acquainted with the embassy, as well as the state symbols, foreign policy, history, culture and music of Azerbaijan. The festival was attended by ambassadors and diplomats accredited in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Mayor of the Dutch city Hague Jan Hendrikus Cornelis van Zanen met with the authorized representatives of embassies, as well as familiarized himself with the national culture and cuisine of each country. Azerbaijani national dances performed at the event were met with great interest and applause.
