CBA Chairman Predicts Oil Price to Surpass USD 70 in 2025

Baku: The Central Bank of Azerbaijan anticipates that the average price of oil in 2025 will exceed 70 dollars, as revealed by the Chairman of the Central Bank, Taleh Kazimov, during a press conference. Kazimov also mentioned that the forecast for 2026 suggests oil prices will stay above 70 dollars.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Central Bank plans to release a more precise estimate in its June forecast. Additionally, the Central Bank has projected that the average price of natural gas for this year will be 304 dollars. Previously, the Central Bank had estimated the price of oil for 2025 to be 77 dollars and the price of natural gas to be 349 dollars.
