On May 30, 2022 at the initiative of the Consulate General of the Republic of Tajikistan in Almaty with the participation of Tajik communities and compatriots living abroad a meeting dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the XVI Session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan was held.
During the meeting the Consul General of the Republic of Tajikistan in Almaty Ravshan Bobokhonzoda spoke about the historical significance of the fateful XVI Session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan, which laid a solid foundation for the restoration of the country’s constitutional order and building a democratic, legal and secular state. and brought peace to the Tajiks, he said.
Participants of the meeting called the holding of the 16th Session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan one of the great historical dates.
As part of the event, a special commemorative plaque dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the XVI Session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan was created for the participants, where photos were exhibited.
