A solemn event dedicated to the National Flag Day of the Republic of Tajikistan was held in the hall of the DMIA in GBAO.
The event dedicated to the “Day of the National Flag of the Republic of Tajikistan” was attended by staff of the DMIA and its units in GBAO, teachers of Khorog State University named after Academician Moensho Nazarshoev and students of the Presidential School for Gifted Students in Khorog.
The solemn event began with the preparation of personnel and the introduction of the National Flag in the hall and the National Anthem of the Republic of Tajikistan.
On behalf of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel-General of Police Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro sincerely congratulated the participants of the event on the occasion of the National Flag Day of the Republic of Tajikistan. It was noted that the National Flag is a symbol of the thousands of years of history of our great people, and the people of this land in every historical period have achieved unity, progress and prosperity under their flag.
The new flag of our independent Republic was approved at the 16th Session of the Supreme Council on November 24, 1992. Our national flag has been installed in international organizations and is a proof of the independence of the Tajik state and a sign of our country’s full membership in the world arena.
Recalling the words of the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, he noted that the state flag today as a symbol of the people’s determination to beautify our beautiful country is the “Dirafshi Koviyon” of our Aryan ancestors with three shades of red – freedom and independence, white – peace and tranquility, green color – prosperity and happiness, and among them the symbol of the golden crown of the state with seven bright stars once again testifies to the existence of ancient Tajik civilization and culture, the image of creativity and national identity, independent statehood and patriotic aspirations of our heroes.
Today, the National Flag has been hoisted at a height of 165 meters in the center of the Republic of Tajikistan in Dushanbe and in the administrative center of GBAO in Khorog during the working visit of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President Emomali Rahmon. This initiative is a sign of protection of national sacred things and love for the long-term efforts of our ancestors to achieve independence and freedom.
The head of the Badakhshan branch of the Writers’ Union, Laljuba Mirzohasan, spoke at the event.
In the continuation of the solemn event the head of the department of philosophy and political science of KSU, candidate of philosophical sciences Kurbonnazar Taurov presented a congratulatory letter of the rector of KSU Gulzorkhon Yusufzorda to the staff of the DMIA in honor of the National Flag Day of the Republic of Tajikistan. He addressed the audience with a report on the flag as an expression of philosophy and unity and independence, noting that the flag is the basis of pride, unity and solidarity, a sign of identity and strong will of the civilized Tajik people and nation.
Abdulsaid Lutfishoev, a senior lecturer at the Department of Philosophy and Political Science at Khorog State University, spoke on “Respecting the National Flag as a National Sacred Sacrament.” Celebrate the adoption of the “National Flag of the Republic of Tajikistan” with a high sense of pride in the country’s sovereignty. Respect and reverence for the National Flag as a symbol of State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan is a historical mission and civic duty of every member of society, which after gaining state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan laid the foundation for the Tajik nation absolutely achieved.
During the event, the staff of the DMIA in the presence of the participants of the event in the presence of the participants of the event presented poems by Tajik writers in honor of this sacred flag for the people and the nation, recited high poems dedicated to the supremacy of the state flag. Students of the State Educational Institution of the Presidential School for gifted students in Khorog presented to the audience quotes from the speeches of great people, who were full of respect and reverence for these sacred relics of the world.
