In order to determine the extent of damages as a result of the conflict on the Tajik-Kyrgyz border, the leadership of the Department of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense for the Sughd region in collaboration with the city Commission for Emergency Situations of Isfara and Bobojon Gafurov will study the affected houses of three rural communities, namely Surkh, Vorukh, Chorkuh and the village of Ovchikalacha.

According to the preliminary data, 14 residential buildings have been completely destroyed, with two houses and one auxiliary structure partially damaged.

The building of a local secondary educational institution and a residential building in the territory of the village of Ovchikalacha have also been partially damaged.

The Evacuation Commission of Isfara, Bobojon Gafurov, Jabbor Rasulov and Spitamen in collaboration with employees of local executive authorities of the cities and districts of the region, the Department of Emergency Situations and Civil Defense for the Sughd region have evacuated about 15,000 local residents who found themselves in the conflict zone to safe places. At the moment, all of them have returned to their places of permanent residence.

The Emergency Situations Commission continues its work.
