On June 30, a Community Policing Center was opened in the Tajik mahalla of the Vorukh jamoat in Isfara. The center has modern facilities, two spacious service rooms for district police inspectors, an office for members of the Public Council for Civil Society Assistance in maintaining public order, a dining room and a laundry room, and is equipped with computer equipment and visual aids. .
The opening ceremony was attended by residents of the Tajik mahalla and activists of the Vorukh jamoat of Isfara with the participation of the head of the Sughd police department, Major General Navjuvonov Abdullo Shanbievich, National Coordinator for Police Reform, Interior Minister Colonel Hamdamh Badamov. Bahodurzoda, Chief of DMIA-2 in Isfara, Colonel Firdavs Shomadzoda and members of the Public Council for Civil Society Assistance in maintaining public order at DMIA-2 in Isfara in a solemn atmosphere.
As it was noted during the event, the use of this service facility allows every citizen to actively participate in cooperation with the police in the implementation of state policy, law and order and crime prevention in the community.
The Center for Community Policing in Vorukh Jamoat, Isfara City, was established as part of the Police Reform Program in Tajikistan. in this context, to strengthen the relationship of cooperation between them. For this purpose, working groups will be formed from local activists and representatives of various sectors of the economy and will be mobilized to work in the regions. Conducting sociological surveys, arranging meetings, workshops to identify and address existing problems related to the activities of law enforcement agencies, We will recall that a similar service facility was built and put into operation in Sughd's Poshkent jamoat on June 28 as part of Tajikistan's police reform program.
