Throughout the first century, the two states have been able to build on their trustworthiness on the basis of mutual trust, in addition to strengthening political, economic and humanitarian relations.

In his official visit to Tajikistan, former President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said that Kazakhstan and Tajikistan are tied to traditional friendship based on mutual trust and mutual respect. There are no political or economic differences between our countries. Tajikistan is a country of love for us, and on this basis we are interested in sustainable development. In today's difficult situation of the modern world economy, we can find collaboration in certain sectors of the economy ".

During the visit the Agreement on Strategic Cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan was signed.

According to President Emomali Rahmon, exchanging relations between Dushanbe and Astana depends on a strategic partnership on a stable level of bilateral coordination. Including:

- Addressing the issues of regulating Tajik labor migrants;

- Improvement of the functioning of the bilateral mutual funds;

- Strengthen the legal framework for higher education, taking into consideration the annual annual quota for youth in the two countries.

Today, trade and economic relations between the two countries are also developing. Experts and diplomats point out that friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan have been produced only by the efforts of the leaders of both countries. Negotiations and friendship with Nursultan Nazarbaev and Emomali Rahmon, who have been in the foreseeable years of independence, are still growing steadily. This sincere friendship between the two leaders of the two states is important for the development of political, trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural relations.

In recent years Kazakhstan has been steadily increasing on the list of three major trade partners of Tajikistan (both in Russia and China) in accordance with the volume of foreign trade.

At the same time, the supportive exporting companies (Kazinvest and Kazaxport) carry out large-scale targets to increase the export of Kazakhstan's products to the Tajik market. In particular, the following representatives of Kazakhstan companies have a good work:

On April 20, 2017 in Dushanbe a business forum of entrepreneurs of the two countries was held which was organized with the support of the national agroindustrial company and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan. In this important event, 30 companies produced foodstuffs, construction materials, machine tools, packing, pharmaceuticals and chemicals. In the negotiations, more than 100 Tajik companies who were interested in procurement of Kazakhstan products were involved. During the visit of Kazakh businessmen to Tajikistan, the meeting was held with the leadership of a group of international companies "Achan", which opened in June in Dushanbe in its hypermarket. Producers of foodstuffs introduced their products, and as a result, the parties agreed that cooperation is a way of doing things.

On July 27, 2017, the first session of the Working Group on the development of the product was discussed in Dushanbe. The parties presented each other's names and types of exported products, as well as signed documents to increase the flow of goods to billions of dollars.

According to the 25th anniversary of the independence of the two republics, one of the streets of Khujand was named after Shymkent. Khujand and Shimkent are officially registered.

March 20, 2017 held a meeting of the delegation of the Khujand city of Shimkent on the invitation of the mayor of Shymkent and the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Republic of Tajikistan. The results of these campaigns showed that the establishment of such a move would further strengthen the relations between the two countries.

It should be noted that the Kazakh people have been in full support of Tajiks in the difficult history of their history. Taking into account the historic friendly relations between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, it is also necessary to use the existing opportunities of the two states:

- Establish a state-run joint venture for Kazakhstan as Kazakhstan's largest producer of wheat in Tajikistan;

- Taking into account the many experience in Kazakhstan in the field of mining, companies in the country are involved in the extraction and processing of minerals of Tajikistan;

- In order to establish production in Tajikistan, particularly agricultural and cereal products, which meet the requirements of all ecological requirements, establish enterprises for processing and exported goods to Kazakhstan;
