On October 29, 2021, at approximately 12:30, the driver of an Opel Zafira, Kholikov Valijon Alievich, born in 1986, resident of Khujand, was driving on the highway of R. Hojiev Avenue, located on the territory of Khujand city, unable to control the vehicle, pedestrian Ghafurov Abdurasul, born in 1946, a resident of Devashtich district.
As a result, pedestrian Ghafurov A. received serious bodily injuries and died at the hospital.
An investigation is under way.
