The 47-year-old deputy chief of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Khatlon region, police colonel Shamsullo Abdullozoda, died tonight.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the cause of death was diabetes, which Abdullozoda suffered from.
«Colonel Shamsullo Abdullozoda suffered from diabetes. Blood sugar rose sharply yesterday, causing death», – a source said.
Meanwhile, another source in the Jaloliddini Balkhi area, where Shamsullo Abdullozoda lived, said on condition of anonymity that he had bilateral pneumonia.
He also said that the colonel’s sister died about a week ago, but nothing was reported about the reasons for her death.
Shamsullo Abdullozoda held senior positions in the Ministry of Internal Affairs in recent years. He was the deputy chief of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Jaloliddni Balkhi area, the head of the criminal investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Khatlon, the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan in Russia and the deputy chief of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Khatlon.
Recall Shamsullo Abdullozoda is the brother of the Director General of Dushanbe International Airport Ismatullo Abdullozoda and the chairman of the Jaloliddini Balkhi district Ubaydullo Fayzullo.
