Four streets and one neighborhood unit of Tajik capital will be left without electricity for several hours today

“Today, electricity supply will be cut off to Rahmon-Nabiyev, Moyonsho-Nazarshoyev, Bobojon-Ghafuorov and Sevastopolskaya streets from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in connection with routine maintenance work,” said an official source at the Dushanbe electricity supply network,” an official source at the Dushanbe electricity supply network noted.
“Besides, electricity supply will be cut off to the Buni Hisorak neighborhood unit,” the source added.
This year, the practice of rolling blackouts in Dushanbe was suspended in April and resumed today.
Meanwhile, Barqi Tojik (Tajik power utility company) says it will impose restrictions on the supply of electricity due to a dramatic drop in water levels in a reservoir powering the Nurek hydroelectric power plant.
