The heads of special services of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will meet in mid-May in Dushanbe, reported Sergey Lebedev, the head of the CIS Executive Committee.

In mid-May, a meeting of the heads of our special services, which is a very important event, will take place in Dushanbe, Lebedev said at a press conference following the meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers in Moscow.

Earlier, the head of the CIS Antiterrorist Center (ATC) Andrei Novikov stated that the antiterrorist protection of the CIS countries and citizens is at a satisfactory level.

If we consider the current situation in CIS in detail, we can say that the security forces, special services and law enforcement agencies are managing to ensure the antiterrorism protection of our countries and our citizens at a fairly significant level, including thanks to their coordinated work, he noted.
