Criminal proceedings have been instituted against a 41-year-old resident of Khujand under the provisions of Article 247 part 4 of Tajikistan’s Penal Code.
In March 2021, he fraudulently entered into the trust of a 39-year-old resident of the city and took 90 thousand somoni from him, but has not yet returned the money.
An investigation is under way.
