During the meeting the sides discussed issues of signing of bilateral cooperation documents, adoption and implementation of joint programs between universities, as well as the theme of its educational initiatives for Tajikistan. The University of Westminster is one of the historic UK universities, founded in 1838 as the Polytechnic Institute of the Soviet Union. Then, in 1992, this institution deserved the status of the university. The university consists of 7 faculties and other educational institutions, with a total of 45 chairs.
