June 13-14, 2019 in Bishkek, under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic, the next session of the Council of Heads of the SCO Member States was held.
Heads of Member States have considered the implementation of the Sino-2018 summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the priority tasks of SCO's further development in the current political and international environment. The coordinated standpoint of the SCO was adopted in the fields of policy, security, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian ties in the SCO Summit in the adopted Declaration of Bishkek.
According to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, during the Bishkek Bishkek conference, the SCO chaired the Russian Federation. Therefore, the next meeting of the Council of Heads of SCO member states, which is called the average annual every year, will be held in 2020 in the Russian Federation, which will take place in the SCO from the Russian Federation to the Republic of Tajikistan. Accordingly, the SCO Summit will take place in 2021 in Dushanbe. In 2021, the SCO was established 20 years.
Tajikistan will take part in the Council of Heads of States, the Council of Foreign Ministers, the National Coordination Council and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Representations.
Our country will start preparations for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in 2020-2021, and intends to contribute to the further development of the SCO.
In this regard, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan has set up the Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's summit in Dushanbe under the leadership of the Prime Minister, who is currently active.
During the period of its presidency, Tajikistan intends to seek to secure the security and stability, strengthen the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian relations in the SCO area.
