On August 24, 2022, the meeting of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Russian Federation, Davlatshah Gulmahmadzoda, was held with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Andrey Rudenko.

Expressing satisfaction with the current cooperation between the two countries, the parties discussed issues related to the further development of relations between Tajikistan and Russia in various fields.

There was an exchange of views between the parties on important issues of the regional and international agenda.
