Meeting of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Kuwait Zubaydon Zubaydullo Najat on March 17, 2019 in Baghdad was held with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Iraq on Legal Issues and Multilateral Relations Hamad al-Yusuf.
During the meeting the issues of bilateral cooperation in the spheres of economy, trade, investment, tourism, fight against terrorism, extremism, returning of young Tajiks from Iraq to Iraq, conducting political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries, participation of the 5th member of the OIC and the High Level Conference entitled "International and Regional Cooperation in the Fight against Terrorism and its Funding Forces, including Narcotics Transmission and Organized Crime" the ratification of the sides.
The sides also exchanged views on the necessity of exchanging high-level visits and establishing cooperation between the power of the two countries and exchanging views on the situation in the Middle East and Afghanistan.
