On February 14, 2023, there was held a Joint Meeting of the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Malaysia, Ardasher Qodiri, the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Malaysia, Jaab Werner and the UN Resident Coordinator in Malaysia, Ms. Karima Al Korri with the Minister of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change of Malaysia, Nik Nazmi.
During the meeting, the representatives of Tajikistan and the Netherlands briefed the Malaysian side on the Preparatory process for the UN 2023 Water Conference and called on Malaysia to participate in the upcoming historic Conference at the appropriate level, as well as to make commitment in accordance with the Water Action Agenda.
The sides also exchanged views on bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
