On July 28, 2021 the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Tajikistan Yusuf Rahmon met with the Prosecutor General of Germany in Karlsruhe Dr. Peter Frank. At the meeting the sides exchanged views on the expansion of cooperation between the two countries in the provision of legal assistance, interdepartmental relations and training of young professionals.
Referring to the escalation of the situation in neighboring Afghanistan, Yusuf Rahmon stressed the need to expand cooperation in the fight against terrorism, extremism and other transnational crimes.
During the working visit to Dusseldorf, the Tajik delegation got acquainted with the activities of the Prosecutor's Office of the North Rhine-Westphalia and talked with its leadership on the development of direct interagency relations.
