On May 28, 2022, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Farhod Salim met with the Special Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China for Foreign Security Cheng Guoping to participate in the 4th Regional Security Dialogue of National Security Advisers / Secretaries of Security Councils. on Afghanistan visited Dushanbe.
During the meeting the issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed and the parties stressed the importance of joint measures to eliminate the negative consequences of the integration of Covid-19, the need to strengthen cooperation in combating terrorism, extremism, separatism, organized crime and drug trafficking.
