On March 2, 2022, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sharaf Sheralizoda met with World Bank Country Manager for Tajikistan and Turkmenistan Ozan Sevimli and World Bank Operations Manager for Afghanistan with temporary residence in Tajikistan Tony Verheen.
The parties discussed the activities of the Bank in Tajikistan, implementation of joint projects, further expansion of cooperation in the field of energy, healthcare, as well as participation in the Second International High-Level Conference on the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2018" (Dushanbe, June 6-9, 2022) and other issues of mutual interest.
