On 21 March 2022, on the sidelines of the 48th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Islamabad the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
At the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Pakistan in various fields. Ministers also exchanged views on issues of cooperation between the two countries in the framework of international and regional organisations, particularly Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
The two sides also discussed the process of implementation of agreements reached during the high-level visits in 2021.
