On February 7, 2022 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Muhriddin received copies of credentials of the newly appointed Permanent Representative of the United Nations Development Program Lenny Montiel.
During the meeting the sides exchanged views on cooperation of the Republic of Tajikistan with this institution. The two sides expressed interest in the implementation of projects in accordance with the needs of the country, as well as the prospects for further cooperation in the framework of the National Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030.
At the end of the meeting, the Foreign Minister expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation with UNDP and wished him success in promoting activities in the field of socio-economic development, as well as achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
